The Portland Auto Show is going on now and through Sunday at the Oregon Convention Center! Explore a huge selection of both exotic and domestic vehicles. Of course, the most important booth to check out will be Kuni’s cars at the BMW booth, featuring most of the current BMW line-up.

It won’t be long until only sedans will be under the badge of the 3 Series. For 2013, the 3 Series coupes and convertibles will become the 4 Series. And with the release of the 4 Series only a year away, BMW fans are already looking ahead with excitement to its modified brother, the BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, which will be released in 2015. It is similar in concept to the 6 Series Gran Coupe, which was unveiled by BMW last year.

Just like the 6 Series Gran Coupe, the 4 Series Gran Coupe will bring “the sleek sportiness, premium image and ambience of the 6er Gran Coupe to the Premium entry sports segment,” says a BMW insider. If the rendered picture of the 4 Series Gran Coupe (above) is anything close to the truth, we have a lot to be excited about.

We like to think all of our deliveries are memorable, but maybe none more so than this.
The clock was ticking as Wally Van Schelt drove a gorgeous Tasman Green 328i xDrive Coupe to a client’s Washington home where they were celebrating their 44th wedding anniversary. Unbeknownst to his wife, Kuni BMW client Rick S. had worked with Wally to perfectly time the delivery as a surprise anniversary gift.
Wally arrived just in time for the friends and family to share in the special moment when the husband surprised his wife with the new BMW. As you can see in the video, she is ecstatic about her new BMW. “This is one of the best surprises I’ve ever had in our 44 years of marriage,” admitted her husband later.

Detroit, MI – January 9, 2011…On the occasion of the North American International Auto Show, BMW confirmed today that it will offer a 6-speed manual transmission on the North American version of the upcoming 2013 BMW M5. The 6-speed manual will be available from the start of production this summer and will be offered as a no-cost alternative to the standard 7-speed M- Double Clutch Transmission (DCT). The manual gearbox was a popular choice for U.S. customers of the previous generation M5 and continues to be a unique offer in the segment.
Though the 6-speed gearbox has one less gear than the M-DCT transmission, the ratios have been optimized for acceleration, flexibility and fuel economy. Final drive ratio and special M Active differential are maintained. The new transmission is mated to a short throw shift linkage topped with a black leather backlit shift knob.
The 2013 M5 will arrive at US BMW Centers in late summer 2012. Pricing, options and specifications will be released closer to the on-sale date.
