BMW has just set the bar even higher with its one-of-a-kind Sports Activity Coupe, the X6. The X6 is the world’s first Sports Activity Coupe – an aggressive blend of an SUV with the stance and sporty frame of a coupe. For the 2013 model year, the X6 will be refreshed with light-emitting diodes, front and rear. Choices in engine power will range from powerful to more powerful (or in other words) the X6 xDrive35i with a 300-hp inline six-cylinder engine to the beefed up X6 xDrive50i model with a 400-hp twin-turbo V8. And for those who desire even more horsepower, they can opt for the M Performance package, an upgrade of 15 hp, plus spiffed out 20″ wheels, black chrome exhaust tips, stainless steel pedals and other trim details.
Upgraded models will sport LED headlights in front with BMW’s distinctive luminous rings, creating the brand’s hallmark look as a glowing light mass.
Nevada leather is standard, with Nappa leather available as an added luxury option. A third row bench seat will be available to accommodate those extra passengers.
If all this isn’t enough, buyers can opt for the outrageously, off-the-charts powerful X6 M, boasting 555-hp and a six-speed automatic.
The X6 will arrive in showrooms sometime this spring.
