BMW of North America names Kuni BMW Portland as #1 US “BMW Center of Excellence” Winner in United States for 2010.
2010 Center of Excellence Award
Kuni BMW has just been named the top overall performing BMW dealership in the United States by BMW of North America, by being awarded the BMW 2010 “Center of Excellence”.
Kuni BMW President Shanon Mornhinweg says that “’Center of Excellence’ is BMW’s most prestigious award, and is given annually to the top 21 performing dealerships in the United States. Kuni BMW was first overall for the 21 award winners, and was also at the top of the list over all 343 US BMW dealerships in 2009”.
Mornhinweg said that “Kuni BMW was one of only 3 dealers in BMW’s Western Region, and the only BMW dealer in the Northwest to receive this prestigious award”.
Jim O’Donnell, President of BMW North America states, “The ‘Center of Excellence Award’ is reserved for those dealers who have aligned with BMW business strategies to achieve exceptional brand representation, operational excellence and consistent delivery of a superior customer experience”.
Greg Goodwin, CEO of Kuni Automotive, the parent company of Kuni BMW, stated that “Our Company is extremely proud of each and every team member of the Kuni BMW team for achieving this award and their #1 in the country status. This is a signal achievement for our Company, especially since the BMW Center of Excellence is among the most difficult industry awards to attain, and is considered one of the industry’s most prestigious forms of recognition.”
Mornhinweg commented further on the award saying, “Kuni BMW has one of America’s highest sales and service loyalty rates. We have been able to perform at a very high level and consistently outperform our competition by a wide margin. This is formal recognition from BMWNA that we are very proud of, and sincerely humbled to receive”.
“We all understand that getting to the top in customer service is just the beginning of our journey. All of us at Kuni BMW intend to work diligently in 2010 to retain our leadership as one of the best in the Country.”
